At Bellbar Strength Lab, we spend a lot of time talking about strength training, recovery, kettlebells, barbells, mobility, and longevity.
But none of that works very well if you aren’t eating enough protein.
If your goal is to build muscle, recover from training, support bone density, and stay strong as you age, protein matters. Current recommendations are often around 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.
That means a 155-pound woman may need roughly 155 grams of protein daily.
That’s a lot of chicken, eggs, yogurt, and tuna.
Which is exactly why protein powders help.
